Born on August 30th 1972 in Barcelona within a family involved in sports. His dad was the Spanish Team’s athletics physiotherapist. His grandfather, the national race walking coach and athletics coach as well, and his uncle got the first Olympic medal for the Spanish Team (50km race walking in Moscow 1980). Within all his family members, they’ll add up to 9 participations in the following Olympic Games.
