Musculoskeletal ultrasound
*Subject to availability. The request is not binding. We will contact you to confirm the appointment.
Musculoskeletal ultrasound is an imaging technique that allows visualization of tissues, assessment of possible pathologies in real time, and treatment. Ultrasound enables us to see muscles in motion, being the only dynamic imaging test.
Many of the techniques we apply at Sportcat, many of them proprietary, are performed under ultrasound guidance, making them very precise and allowing us to target the exact site of the injury. Examples include infiltrations of growth factors, hyaluronic acid, homeopathic products (we generally do not use corticosteroids). Also, percutaneous intramuscular or tendinous stimulations with galvanic currents, etc.
